Here's the Bottom Line.
Native Americans are still being betraied by the same people who ask "Can't we co-exist?". Who wants to "co-exist" with people you know will turn on you on a dime. Mention "co-exist" to a Native American and don't be surprised if you get a dirty look.

This is my biggest pet peeve. "If their going to live here than they should learn our language." This statement is used all the time about people who come here and speak very little, if any, english. Well tighten your setbelt folks: Why should forgieners be forced to learn enlish when it is not the native tongue. You hear me right. The pilgrams came and ran amok. They never learned the native tongue the First Citizens which were Native Americans. They didn't speak english. As a matter of fact they were forced to abanded their tongue and learn the pilgram's tongue.
Of course, after being forced to abonded their tongue, it was their believes, and then their way of life. Then came the biggest betral of all. Their homes were stolen out from underneath them. Hence they were forced to move from one piece of land to another and yet again they were forced to move.
